Dr. Dinesh Bhayana
MD CCFP (EM)
Founder & Medical Director
For nearly a decade, Dr. Bhayana has provided medical care for patients dealing with substance use disorders in several settings including hospitals, withdrawal management and rehabilitation facilities, and clinics in the community. He has come to understand the spectrum of issues faced by both patients and their loved ones as they navigate the recovery process.
Upon completing medical school in 2010 at the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Bhayana attended the University of Toronto for postgraduate training in family and emergency medicine. During his residency at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto he was fortunate to work with and learn from leading experts in addiction medicine. Since 2013, his practice has included both emergency and addiction medicine which has allowed him to identify the gaps in care that many individuals encounter.
West End Recovery was founded and launched in 2022 to support improved access to community-based medical and psychological services. The clinic also provides a setting for a diverse group of providers to collaborate, learn, and work with emerging technologies and treatment modalities.
